A comparison of tuition fees across the Maritimes shows undergraduate students in Nova Scotia are paying more than anyone else.

The latest numbers come from the Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission.

The organization says tuition fees across the region increased between 2.1 and 8.8 per cent for this school year.

The figures show tuition now ranges between $5,300 and $7,200.

Prince Edward Island had the lowest tuition fees.
