A Nova Scotia couple is celebrating an $11.2 million lottery win.
Allen and Violet Large, a retired couple from Truro, came forward Wednesday with the winning ticket in last week's Lotto 6/49 draw.
The Larges are in Moncton, site of Atlantic Lottery's head offices, to receive their tax-free cheque.
"They came to our office today quite excited to accept their winnings," said Courtney Pringle, spokesperson for Atlantic Lottery. "They have known since last week that they were the winners but decided to take some time just to come to terms with the fact that they're now millionaires."
Pringle said the couple has not yet decided what to do with the windfall.
"They did make it expressly clear that one of their priorities was to give money to their family and the other was to give money to charity."
