Shooting suspect arrested and released without charges in Halifax
A man who was arrested Thursday in connection with a Halifax shooting that happened in September has been released without charges, say Halifax Regional Police.
Shots were fired in the Jarvis Lane area of Mulgrave Park on the evening of Sept. 21. Police were called and officers found shell casings and bullet fragments, but no victims.
RCMP and Halifax Regional Police executed two search warrants at 4:50 a.m. Thursday.
One search was on the 2,500 block of Gottingen Street and the other on the 2,400 block of Brunswick Street.
A man was arrested during the Gottingen Street search but was released Thursday evening. A woman was arrested at the Brunswick Street residence, but was also released.
The investigation continues.
