MSVU therapy dog a draw for stressed students
University using Oscar to break stigma around mental health problems
Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax is trying to break the stigma around mental health by enlisting a therapy dog named Oscar to help.
The aim is to get more university students into the counsellor's office to talk about their stress or anxiety before the crisis hits.
The CBC's Colleen Jones sat down for some quality time with the university's most popular pooch.
