Police search for patient missing from Halifax hospital

The Nova Scotia Health Authority are working with the Halifax Regional Police and the Mobile Crisis Unit to find Jessie Stone. Stone was reported missing Jan. 9.

The Nova Scotia Health authority is asking for the public's help to find Jessie Stone, a patient who is missing from a Halifax hospital. She was reported missing Jan. 9.

Stone, 20, has long brown wavy hair, blue eyes, and a light complexion. She is 5'2" tall and weighs 115 lbs.

She was last seen wearing a black winter jacket with a fur-lined hood, a white knitted tuque, running shoes, and black leggings. Stone has a tattoo on her right leg.

The Nova Scotia Health Authority says her risk to herself increases the longer she is away from treatment. Staff are working with the Halifax Regional Police and the Mobile Crisis Unit to find Stone.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
