Halifax Regional Police are looking for a Dartmouth teenager who's believed to have boarded a flight to Toronto last week but has not been heard from since.

Tiffany Watson, 16, was last seen leaving her Marvin Street residence on the evening of June 18. She was reported missing the next day.

Police say Watson boarded a flight to Toronto in the early hours of June 19. She's believed to be in the Toronto area but she has not been in touch with friends or family since she left Halifax.

Watson is described as white, five feet nine inches tall and weighing 200 pounds with a medium build. She has black hair that is dyed blond on top.

Her upper lip and tongue are pierced and she has a tattoo on the back of her neck that reads "just ride" and a tattoo on her wrist that reads "don't let your fears win."

There's no evidence to suggest Watson has been hurt but there are concerns for her safety, police said.
