Missing Canso man's body recovered
Joseph Colin Bray went fishing on Sunday
RCMP have confirmed they have found the body of a 64-year-old man from the Canso area, who went missing during a fishing trip on Sunday.
Police divers, two Department of Natural Resources helicopters, Nova Scotia police, ground search and rescue teams, the Canadian Coast Guard and private vessels combed the water hoping to find Joseph Colin Bray alive.
At 5.22 p.m. search crews in a DNR helicopter spotted what was believed to be Bray's remains. Police and search crews recovered the body and confirmed Bray's identity.
Bray was last spotted leaving his home on Sterling Road on Sunday, said police.
MacRae said Bray’s car was found at the nearby Seabreeze campground.
