Missing Albert Bridge man found dead on Sydney waterfront

The body of a man found on the Esplanade on Sydney's waterfront has been identified as Vincent Paul Keating, a missing Albert Bridge man who was last seen on Jan. 3.

The body of a man found on the Esplanade on Sydney's waterfront has been identified as Vincent Paul Keating, a missing Albert Bridge man who was last seen on Jan. 3.

Cape Breton Regional Police officers were called just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday when a pedestrian noticed the body in the playground area near the boardwalk behind the Cape Breton Regional Fire Station.

Keating, a 26-year-old man who lived on Trout Brook Road, was last seen on Townsend Street in Sydney.

Police are waiting for an autopsy to identify the cause of death, but said they do not believe it was foul play.
