An 18-year-old from Millbrook, Nova Scotia is being recognized for his community leadership with a scholarship that could be worth $70,000.
Zachary Julian established an all-First Nations lacrosse team. He’s organized youth walks against drug and alcohol abuse and domestic violence. He’s also mentored the younger kids in the community.
Julian is heading to Acadia University in hopes of one day becoming an RCMP officer with a focus on supporting First Nations people.
His scholarship from TD includes up to $10,000 for tuition and $7,500 for living expenses each year.
