Maserati driver facing impaired driving charge
Two vehicles including a 2011 Maserati involved in New Glasgow crash
Police in New Glasgow have charged a 42 year old man with impaired driving after a Maserati and a Ford truck collided late Wednesday morning.
Shortly after 11:00 a.m. New Glasgow Regional Police Service and New Glasgow Fire Department responded to the accident that caused the 1999 F-150 to rollover. The driver of the truck was transported to hospital by Emergency Health Services with non life threatening injuries. The driver of the Maserati car was not injured in the Stellarton Road collision.
Police have confirmed to CBC it was the driver of the Maserati, a Pictou County man, who has been charged with impaired driving.
Police had the road closed for approximately an hour and a half while traffic investigators surveyed the scene.
New Glasgow Regional Police are continuing to investigate.
