Police are looking for a man in Halifax after a stabbing at a party in Guysborough County, N.S., Friday night.

RCMP received a 911 call from the Guysborough Memorial Hospital shortly before midnight that a man was at the hospital suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The 42-year-old was at a party in Sunnyville when he was attacked by another man. The victim was later transferred to St. Martha’s Hospital in Antigonish to be treated for his injuries.

The attacker fled and RCMP think he may be in Halifax. Police know the suspect's name and don't believe the stabbing was random. They did not name the suspect.
