A 30-year-old man is accused of theft after a stolen flat-screen television wound up in the men's washroom at a Halifax bowling alley.

Halifax Regional Police said on Jan. 15, a man went into the Atlantic Superstore at 3601 Joseph Howe Dr. and walked out with a 46-inch Sony Bravia flat-screen television without paying.

Two weeks later, police said the same man returned to the same store and stole a 40-inch RCA flat-screen television.

That television was found a short time later in the men's washroom at the Bayers Road Bowlarama at 3459 Desmond Ave. in Halifax.

Last month, Halifax Regional Police released pictures of the suspect and arrested a 30-year-old man as a result.

He's facing three counts each of theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and breaching a court order.
