Nova Scotia RCMP have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery at a pharmacy in the Annapolis Valley over the weekend.
Police said a man entered the Valley Drug Mart Pharmasave on Main Street in Kingston on Sunday afternoon, showed the pharmacy clerk a weapon and demanded methadone.
He then ran away. No one was injured.
A 25-year-old Nictaux man was arrested Tuesday in nearby Middleton.
He's scheduled to appear in Kentville provincial court on Wednesday on charges of robbery with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
