Two people were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries after two motorcycles collided on the Trans-Canada Highway in Cape Breton, N.S., this morning.

The two motorcycles collided around 8:30 a.m. near the St. Anns turn-off at the base of Kellys Mountain.

Police say both motorcycles were travelling in the same direction when they struck each other.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what happened.
