Time for the kids to get out the bonnets and baskets — the Easter Bunny hops by this weekend. There are a number of community egg hunts on the board already.  Here are the ones we’ve found.

Halifax

When: Saturday, April 19 at 10 a.m.

Where: Victoria Park (Spring Garden and South Park)

Cost: Free

Dartmouth

When: Saturday, April 19 at 9 a.m.

Where: MicMac Mall

Cost: $5 (cash only)

This egg hunt is being done in waves, at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. There will be 200 kids in each wave. Children must register in advance. Registration is available the morning of the event.

Windsor

When: Saturday, April 19 at 11 a.m.

Where: Frederick Farms

Cost: $12

Truro

When: Saturday, April 19 at 11 a.m. (gates open at 10:30 a.m.)

Where: The Barrington Fair Grounds

Cost: $1

Sydney

When: Sunday, April 20. Arrive by 12:45 p.m. for a 1 p.m. start 

Where: Two Rivers Wildlife Park

Children will be divided by age. Regular park admission applies. Please bring your own basket.
