Hit-and-run investigated by Halifax police
Man, 32, was not injured after hit in crosswalk on Robie Street
Halifax Regional Police are investigating after a hit-and-run earlier this week, not far from Dalhousie University.
Early Sunday morning, at 1 a.m., police were called to the corner of Jubilee and Robie streets after a 32-year-old man crossing in a crosswalk was struck by a car driving north on Robie.
The driver didn't stop after the collision.
The pedestrian, who wasn't injured, was able to spot the car's plate number and give police a description of the vehicle.
No charges have been laid.
"Road safety is a shared responsibility. Motorists are reminded to slow down, pay attention and adjust their driving for the conditions," says Const. Pierre Bourdages.
