Hit and run in Cumberland County seriously injures man
Man rushed to Halifax QEII hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries
A hit and run early Sunday morning in Oxford, N.S. sent a 24-year-old man to hospital with serious injuries.
Cumberland County RCMP said the pedestrian was walking in front of the RCMP detachment on Main Street in Oxford at around 2 a.m. Sunday.
Police said that’s when the man was struck by a vehicle heading northbound.
The 24-year-old victim was transported to the QEII hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
The matter remains under investigation as police search for the suspect in the vehicle.
