RCMP in northern Nova Scotia have reopened Highway 104 between Tracadie (Exit 37) and Havre Boucher (Exit 38) after closing it Friday night following a collision between two tractor trailers.

At 8:45 p.m. a tractor trailer travelling east on Highway 104 was forced to stop due to poor visibility.

That’s when another transport truck ran into it.

One driver sustained minor injuries.

Police say it was too dangerous to clear up the crash scene Friday night so traffic on the highway — which is the main route between Truro and Cape Breton — was diverted between exits 37 and 38 throughout the night.
