Cancellations and delays affecting other Maritime airports

The Halifax Stanfield International Airport reported a number of delays and cancellation on Sunday because of heavy fog.

Spokesman Peter Spurway said arrivals from Fredericton, Ottawa, St. John's, Saint John, Charlottetown and Sydney were delayed. Departures heading to Toronto, Ottawa and St. John's were also affected.

He warned flights at other Maritime airports might also be affected by the backlog.

Spurway recommends checking your flight's status before heading out.
