RCMP in Nova Scotia say slick road conditions were a factor in a head-on crash near Murphy Lake that sent two men to hospital on Thursday.

The collision involving two pickup trucks happened along Highway 12 in Kings County.

A 43-year-old Berwick man and a 34-year-old Kenville man sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said one of the drivers was airlifted to hospital in Halifax as a precaution.
