Halifax Regional Police have charged a 59-year-old man with impaired driving after a head-on crash on Joseph Howe Drive in Halifax Wednesday night.
Police said a Nissan X-Trail crossed the centre lane and struck a Nissan Murano around 7:42 p.m. The two drivers – who were the only people in the vehicles – were taken to hospital.
The driver of the Murano was later released, but the other driver is still in hospital. Police say his injuries aren’t life threatening.
