North Preston shooting under investigation by Halifax RCMP

Halifax RCMP are at the scene of a shooting that occurred around 5 a.m. in North Preston on Saturday.

Shots hit house and vehicle on Cain Street

Halifax RCMP are investigating a shooting early this morning in North Preston.

Officers were called to the scene on Cain Street around 5 a.m. Cpl. Linden Morrison told CBC News on Saturday morning that no one was hurt.

Police say the shots hit the side of a home and went into a vehicle in another driveway.

The investigation is ongoing and includes members of the RCMP Forensic Identifcation Section. No arrests have been made. Police say they don't believe this is a random act. 

Police say they are not sure if they are looking for one or multiple suspects.
