Halifax police are appealing for the public's help in locating two very dangerous men, believed to be travelling together throughout Atlantic Canada.

Police have been looking for 28-year-old Brandon Joseph Mombourquette and 26-year-old Andrew Jason Hudder for months for two separate incidents.

Const. Pierre Bourdages said police now believe the pair are working together.

"We have attempted to locate them, and we did not locate them. But we did receive information through the investigation that leads us to believe that they are travelling together in various locations of the Maritimes," he said.

Mombourquette is wanted for weapons offences after a 2009 traffic stop where police found a loaded handgun. He failed to attend a court date scheduled for earlier this year. As a result, police issued an Atlantic region-wide warrant for his arrest.

Hudder is a suspect in a drive by shooting that happened in north-end Halifax last November. He has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault with a weapon and nine weapons related offences.

Both men are considered armed and dangerous.

Police are asking that anyone who sees either of the suspects to call police immediately.
