Halifax man hit with chair leg during robbery
A 21-year-old Halifax man suffered minor injuries when he was hit with a chair leg after two men broke into his apartment Wednesday night.
Halifax Regional Police say they were called at 9:25 p.m. to a report of a robbery in the 5000 block of Fenwick Street.
Police say two men burst into an apartment and took personal items and money. That’s when the victim was attacked.
The first suspect appeared to be in his mid-20s, had an athletic build and may be of Middle Eastern descent. He had dark hair and was wearing a grey hoodie, dark jeans and dark sneakers.
The second suspect appeared to be about the same age. He was white, clean shaven and had short blond hair. He wore a dark hooded jacket, dark pants, dark sneakers and carried a dark backpack.
