A 17-year-old driver has been charged with stunting after Halifax Police pulled him over for driving more than twice the speed limit in Bedford.
Halifax Police say around 9 p.m. Thursday, officers saw a Honda Civic inbound on the Bedford Highway near Oakmount Drive.
They clocked the vehicle at 120 km/h in a 50 km/h zone and pulled him over. The young man was given a ticket for stunting and had his vehicle impounded.
His driver’s licence has also been suspended for seven days.
The stunting charge carries a fine of $2,418.95.
