Halifax Regional Police are looking for two suspects after a man was robbed on the Halifax Common early Tuesday morning.

Officers say a 52-year-old man was approached by two men around 5:30 a.m. as he was walking between Robie and North Park streets.

Without saying a word, the men punched the victim several times and then took his wallet, according to police spokesperson Const. Pierre Bourdages.

The victim says he made his way home and called police, but did not require medical treatment.

The suspects are described as white males in their 20s. One wore a red hooded sweatshirt and shorts. The other man was wearing jeans.
