Glass prompts Ben’s breads recall
Affected batch sent to N.B., N.S. and P.E.I.
The company that makes Ben's bread has issued a voluntary recall in the Maritimes because some of their products might contain glass fragments.
The recall affects all types of Ben's Xtra Soft breads and Ben's Superclub breads, both white and whole wheat.
Canada Bread said it has not received any reports of consumers finding glass in the bread, yet.
The products were made at the Canada Bread facility in Moncton and have a best before date of Aug. 29 on the tag.
Canada Bread said customers can return the bread to the store where it was purchased for a refund.
