Gerald Gates Smith has been acquitted of all three sex charges against him.

Gerald Gates Smith has been acquitted of all three sex charges against him.

Smith, a senior member of the administration at the University of King's College in Halifax, had faced allegations from the 1980s.

Smith was later fired from his job as bursar at King's. 

On Friday, the Nova Scotia Supreme Court quashed the case against him.
