Fuel delivery an issue as blizzard rages in Nova Scotia

The frigid and stormy weather is creating challenges for homeowners who are trying to stay warm and keep the pipes from freezing.

Finding a company to deliver fuel in the Halifax region on Friday proved difficult for some people.

Several companies contacted by CBC simply have recordings saying they are unable to deliver oil until early next week because of the weather.

Cozy Fuels in Lower Sackville said their phones have been ringing off the hook.

They said they have extra staff working and are still delivering at this moment.
