Halifax Regional Police say they managed to arrest a 32-year-old man accused of robbing a convenience store early Thursday morning by following footprints in the snow.

Officers were called to the Needs Convenience store at 70 Lacewood Dr. at around 1:15 a.m.

Police said they traced tracks back to an apartment building on Dawn Street.

Halifax Regional Police said they're still looking for a second person who they believe was part of the break-in.
