Halifax fire investigators are looking into a fire that damaged a home on Wood Avenue.

The fire broke out at 3:30 this morning and has caused, what a fire official says, is moderate damage to a centre unit in rowhouses on Wood Avenue.

The home is located between Brunswick and Gottingen streets near the Angus L. Macdonald bridge.

No one was hurt.

Authorities say firewalls kept the flames from spreading to other units.
