Suspected drowning at Pictou County waterfall investigated by RCMP
A young man jumped into the popular swimming hole by the waterfall around 3:30 p.m. The man did not resurface.
Young man jumped, didn't resurface at Park Falls swimming hole, say police

RCMP divers are at the scene of a suspected drowning at Park Falls, near Sutherlands River, N.S., this evening.
Cpl. Andrew Joyce says a young man jumped into the popular Pictou County swimming hole by the waterfall around 3:30 p.m. The man did not resurface.
The man was swimming with a group, who called 911.
The RCMP underwater recovery team is at the scene, along with EHS and the Thorburn and New Glasgow fire departments.
