Driver speeding 209 km/h charged with stunting
A 21-year-old Chester Basin man has been charged with stunting after police say he was caught driving 209 kilometres an hour.
South Shore RCMP said an officer patrolling on Highway 103 caught the man speeding at 209 kilometres an hour in an area with a speed limit of 100 kilometres an hour.
The man was caught between Tantallon and Hubbards at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Thursday.
The 21-year-old was driving a 1996 Volvo and was issued a ticket for stunting. If he's found guilty, he faces a fine of $2,412.
