Nova Scotia RCMP say the driver of a minivan was killed when the vehicle collided with an SUV on Highway 103 on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred between Exits 14 and 15, near Hebbs Cross, around 3:55 p.m.
Police said the man driving the van died at the scene. A woman who was also in the vehicle was seriously injured. She was sent to the South Shore Regional Hospital. The man driving the SUV was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The highway was closed for several hours as police completed their investigation.
