Driver arrested after stolen taxi rolls in Glace Bay
Cape Breton Regional Police have arrested a 21-year-old man and say he rolled a stolen taxi he was driving in Glace Bay on Monday morning.
Officers received a report at approximately 6 a.m. that a Bud's Taxi had been stolen from Catherine Street in Glace Bay.
They spotted the vehicle on King Edward Street about an hour later and tried to pull the driver over, but he did not stop and turned on to Argyle Street, where the vehicle rolled over.
The driver was taken to Cape Breton Regional Hospital as a precaution.
No charges have been laid.
