Driver airlifted to Halifax hospital after crash
Firefighters rescue 18-year-old from damaged car in Annapolis County
An 18-year-old driver suffered serious injuries after he lost control of his car and crashed in a ditch in Annapolis County early Saturday, RCMP say.
The single-vehicle crash happened on Highway 10 near Springfield at about 12:15 a.m.
Firefighters rescued the 18-year-old driver from the wreckage. He was then rushed to a Halifax hospital by helicopter.
The driver, from Halifax, remains in hospital with serious injuries.
An RCMP crash analyst has been brought in to help with the investigation.
