The last of Alexander Graham Bell's grandchildren has died.

Mabel Grosvenor died Monday at the age of 101 in Baddeck.

She was likely the last person who had personal memories of Bell, the famed telephone inventor.

Grosvenor was born at Beinn Bhreagh, the Bell's summer home near Baddeck, and accompanied her grandfather on his last trip to Scotland in 1920.

She worked as a pediatrician in Washington and was known as Dr. Mabel around Baddeck.
