Dartmouth stabbing sends teenage girl to hospital

A 16-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in the arm in Dartmouth on Monday afternoon, say Halifax Regional Police.

A 16-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in the arm in Dartmouth on Monday afternoon, say Halifax Regional Police.

The stabbing occurred at the corner of Victoria Road and Primrose Street just after 4 p.m. The victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre.

Police said the young woman's injuries aren't life-threatening and they are looking for the person responsible.
