Dartmouth man dies in Annapolis Valley crash
Passerby helps 4 passengers out of burning car
A 23-year-old Dartmouth, N.S., man died in a car crash in the Annapolis Valley Friday night.
The man was driving a car holding two men and two women, aged 21 to 24, on Trout Lake Road near Lawrencetown.
RCMP say at 11:30 p.m., he lost control of the car on a turn in the road, drove off the road and flipped the car onto its roof. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car caught fire. A passerby helped the four passengers out of the vehicle. Police and emergency crews arrived within minutes and put out the fire.
An RCMP traffic analyst is investigating the crash.
