Dartmouth man charged after guns, brass knuckles seized
Police said man pointed a gun at another man in dispute over work done on car
A 42-year-old man in Dartmouth, N.S. is facing a number of weapons charges after police searched a home Saturday afternoon on Dawn Drive.
Halifax Regional Police said before 4 p.m. the man pointed a gun at another man who had gone to a house to complain about work that had recently been done to his car.
The 31-year-old victim ran away and called police.
Officers seized two riffles, ammunition and brass knuckles.
The man is facing charges of unauthorized possession of a firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possession of a prohibited weapon.
The suspect was held in custody overnight and is due in court Sunday.
