Halifax Regional Police arrested three men Saturday after a man was threatened with a gun at a bus terminal in Dartmouth.

Three men are facing numerous weapons charges after someone was threatened with a gun Saturday night at the Dartmouth bus terminal near the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge.

Halifax Regional Police say they were called to the terminal around 9 p.m. after a security guard witnessed a man threatening another man with a firearm.

Police said the suspect and two other people fled the scene in a taxi. Officers began searching for the cab and found it on Grove Street in Dartmouth.

Police conducted a “high-risk vehicle stop” and arrested the three men.

Police said the men are from the Dartmouth area and are 19, 20 and 25 years old, respectively. The trio are being held in custody and are scheduled to be in Dartmouth provincial court on Monday.
