A date has been set for conciliation talks between St. Francis Xavier University and its faculty.
The Association of University Teachers voted 62 per cent in favour of a strike in October.
The union and administration asked for a conciliator two weeks ago, and the province has appointed conciliator John Greer.
He will begin talks with the two sides on December 10th. They've also set aside December 17 and 18.
The 400-member association represents faculty, librarians, lab instructors and extension staff.
