Police are looking for a man who broke into a Dartmouth home and stole a bag of gifts the week before Christmas.

Halifax police said the homeowner returned home from work on Dec. 19 and realized someone had broken into their home.

Video surveillance showed a man walking in around 11:20 a.m. and leaving shortly after with wrapped gifts, electronics and collector coins.

Police described the man as white, between the ages of 20 and 40 years old, 180 pounds and approximately six feet tall. He has a mole on his right cheek.
