A 22-year-old man has died after a car crash in Kempt Head, N.S.

RCMP say a white Toyota Corolla crashed on Kempt Head Road at about 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The man who died was a passenger in the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other passengers, a 27-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, were taken to Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver, a 24-year-old man, was arrested at the scene. Police expect charges to be laid against him.

Police have seized the vehicle and are continuing to investigate.
