Cape Breton trailer park's new owner says residents can stay
Previous owner ordered 60 people out of their homes by June 11
The previous owner, John Webb, president of Troy Nova Scotia Ltd, had planned to evict all of the 60 tenants, saying he couldn't afford to continue operating the park's water and sewage treatment plant.
He was going to cut off services on June 11.
But Friday night, Vaughn McManus confirmed he purchased the land.
McManus, who owns a construction company in Port Hawkesbury, tells CBC News all residents will now be able to stay.
