A young man is in hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Nova Scotia.

Cape Breton Regional Police say officers were called to Reserve Street in Glace Bay around 4 p.m. Sunday after a motorcycle and a vehicle collided.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 23-year-old man from Gardiner Mines, was taken to a nearby hospital and later taken to a hospital in Halifax.

Police say the traffic safety and forensic identification units are investigating.
