Cabot Beach boil water advisory lifted
Provincial parks staff will continue to monitor the system as usual
P.E.I. environmental health officials have lifted the boil water advisory for part of Cabot Beach Provincial Park in Malpeque Bay.
The advisory was issued on Friday after a sampling taken of the water in one section showed a total coliform bacteria count of 21 when there should be no coliform bacteria found.
The system has since been flushed and re-tested. Since then, there have been two sets of clear samples.
However provincial parks staff will continue to monitor the system as usual.
There were no reports of illness related to the water.
