Boy, 14, charged with impaired driving after crash
RCMP say crash happened Thrusday evening northeast of Antigonish
RCMP in Antigonish have charged a 14-year-old boy with impaired driving after a crash Thursday evening.
The crash happened near the intersection of Clydesdale Road and Highway 245, a few kilometres northwest of Antigonish.
Police say the teen, who was the only one in the vehicle at the time, lost control and crashed in the ditch.
There were no injuries.
The teen faces charges of impaired driving, operating a motor vehicle with a blood concentration over the legal limit, and taking a motor vehicle without consent of the owner.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Antigonish Youth Court on July 16.
