A 62-year-old man from Bedford was airlifted to hospital in Halifax after a crash Sunday afternoon at 5 p.m. on Highway 104, east of Truro.

Nova Scotia RCMP said the man was driving a pick-up truck that ran into a tractor trailer parked on the side of the highway, between Mount Thom and Kemptown.

The two people in the tractor trailer were not hurt.
