The medical examiner has ruled that a Dartmouth man's death on Monday was accidental.

Police had originally called the death suspicious, but Const. Pierre Bourdages said at the time the case was in its initial stages.

Officers were called to a home on Chebogue Lane at 4:13 p.m. Monday after a man, believed to be in his 20s, was found dead.

The medical examiner's report found that foul play was not involved and that the death was accidental.

The man's name will not be released, said Bourdages.
